Imagine an enchanting early spring evening in the glorious Devon countryside, tasting some of the best food and drink the region has to offer and dancing the night away under a starry sky. Tempted? If you are, The Secret Garden Boho Ball is a night not to be missed.
This captivating spring ball is being held on Saturday 23rd March between 6pm and midnight and promises to be an evening full of tantalising delights.
About the event
The evening is a celebration of all things spring and brings together some of Devon’s best suppliers including Riverford, Sharpham, Dartmoor Brewery, Wicked Wolf and Juniper Green Organic Gin to name a few.
Not only will you have a night to remember, you will also be helping to raise money for two charities. All proceeds from ticket sales will be split between The Blue Cross and Anti-slavery International. And the feel-good factor doesn’t stop there. As well as supporting a wealth of Devon suppliers the event promises to be as sustainable as possible. Glasses will be allocated to guests on arrival, all drinks will be bought in barrels or glass bottles and everything will be recycled at the end of the night.
Venue
You couldn’t find a more captivating venue if you tried. The ball will be held in the exclusive and stylish glasshouse at Anrán. The space will be transformed into a tropical garden that will undoubtedly be the talking point of the night. Anrán is a gorgeous collection of Grade II listed buildings that have been transformed into luxurious accommodation and provide the perfect backdrop to this stylish event.
Order of events… you’re in for a real treat
6.00pm – Enjoy a free Arber Gin or glass of fizz, along with canapés and acoustic sounds as you mingle and chat
7.00pm – Take your seats for a two-course candlelit spring feast
8.30pm – Charity Auction
8.45pm – Dance the night away to local band Double A and the Bay and DJ LairdGrooves
12 midnight – Taxis and bed!
Tickets for this exclusive event cost £46 per person (plus a £2.80 booking fee) and your ticket entitles you to a complimentary arrival drink, candlelit feast, entertainment and music.

You’ll find a cash-only rustic bar serving a range of drinks from Devon suppliers – think local gins, wines, ciders and ales. You can also buy bottles of wine for the table.
Don’t forget your dancing shoes… Double A and the Bay will take you on a journey from the 80s to present day, followed by the finest soul and funk party vibes from DJ LairdGrooves.
This is a ball, but not as you know it. There’s no need for ball gowns and tuxedos. Instead, think boho, whimsical and laid-back – floaty dresses, and jeans and waistcoats for the guys.
