Chagford is an ancient Stannary town on the edge of Dartmoor, not far from Okehampton and Moretonhampstead, packed full of history, independent boutiques, artists’ studios and numerous cafes and pubs. For a small town, it really does have it all.
When choosing the perfect setting for dinner with a friend on a warm summer’s evening, one place sprung to mind, The Turf Hotel in Exeter. Perched on the banks of the Exe Estuary, this tranquil pub should be on everyone’s Devon bucket list.
It’s not very often that you find a place that’ll last in your memory forever… today, we were lucky to find the beautiful Broadsands Beach. We were staying in Watermouth Valley Camping Park, just outside Combe Martin. We struck gold, again!
